Director of CEO Groups – Group Facilitator

We’re hiring a Group Facilitator - Director of CEO Groups to lead up to 8 monthly virtual groups made up of high-performing professionals in the community management space.

The Director of CEO Groups is a core voice within the CLI community, shaping the experience, culture, and growth of CEOs across the CAM industry. Through thoughtful facilitation, genuine connection, curriculum design, and consistent support, you will help leaders think more clearly, operate more effectively, and grow both personally and professionally.

The Director of CEO Groups plays a relational, facilitative, and community-centered role within CAM Leadership Institute (CLI). This position combines group facilitation, member coaching, curriculum creation/design, and cross-functional collaboration. We are seeking a highly social, optimistic, detail-aware, and steady-paced leader. Someone who thrives in predictable rhythms, builds trust quickly, and creates meaningful experiences for CEOs and senior executives.

This role is ideal for an individual who naturally energizes others, enjoys structured group interaction, and brings warmth, clarity, and consistency to each member’s experience.

Compensation:

  • This position offers a total compensation range of $150,000–$225,000, which includes base pay plus commission and incentive compensation.
  • Final compensation based on experience and impact potential

What You’ll Do

Facilitation & Community Engagement

  • Lead 6–8 monthly 2-hour mastermind group sessions on Zoom.
  • Facilitate discussions that blend group sharing, peer brainstorming, and deep dives into leadership and industry challenges.
  • Build a warm, trusted environment by forming authentic connections with every member.
  • Encourage meaningful dialogue that helps members solve problems and celebrate wins.
  • Highlight Member contributions to strengthen peer-to-peer value.
  • Identify patterns and challenges to inform future content and programming.

Session Planning & Execution

  • Collaborate with the CLI programming team to select relevant topics and presenters.
  • Customize agendas for each group using established facilitation frameworks.
  • Conduct prep sessions with guest speakers and guide the live session flow.
  • Capture session highlights, follow-ups, and next steps to maintain momentum.
  • Track engagement patterns and recommend improvements to enhance group experience.

One-on-One Member Coaching and Support

  • Conduct quarterly 1:1 calls with group members.
  • Support members in clarifying goals, reflecting on progress, and identifying next steps.
  • Serve as a trusted thought partner, balancing encouragement, accountability, and perspective.
  • Share relevant insights (when appropriate) to help shape group topics and programming.

Member Enrollment & Sales Support

  • Conduct discovery calls with potential members to assess fit and communicate value.
  • Work with the growth team to bring in aligned, high-contributing members.
  • Follow up with warm leads and referrals generated from your facilitation work.
  • Participate in training for CLI’s values-based, consultative enrollment process.

Operational & Strategic Contribution

  • Maintain accurate records, notes, and updates across platforms such as SharePoint and Zoho.
  • Participate in internal meetings focused on alignment and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to curriculum design and member outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-team collaboration that support CLI’s broader impact.

Industry Presence & Marketing Collaboration

  • Represent CLI at select industry events or conferences.
  • Build relationships and maintain awareness of market needs.
  • Collaborate with marketing to share insights, member stories, and session highlights.
  • Contribute to messaging that resonates with prospective members.

Tech-Comfortable

Industry Knowledge (Preferred, Not Required)

  • Experience in community association management is preferred but not required. Leadership, coaching, entrepreneurship, or community-building backgrounds often translate well.

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Been on the executive leadership team for a company within the community management industry
  • Experience leading or participating in peer groups, forums, or mastermind settings
  • A background in coaching, community management, adult learning, or leadership training
  • Sales or enrollment experience (even informally, if you’re great at sharing the value of things you love)
